Sirius Radio's Classic Vinyl Channel Listeners

Does anyone know if they actually use vinyl recordings or is it just a reference to the time period most of the playlist comes from.

The site doesn't mention it;

2. No, they are all digital recordings.

The point is to distinguish "Classic Vinyl" from "Classic Rewind" depending on whether you were listening to LP's or cassette tapes at that stage in life when you were first stoned.

The name refers to the period in which the music was recorded. Classic vinyl plays hits from the 60's through the late 70's. Classic rewind plays the hits from the mostly the 80's.
