Spunky reminds me of a fuzzy bear. And Sugar appears to be as sweet as her name.

When spunky was a puppy he slept with my mom. We have video of them sleeping and he is on her head.

I thought there would be a lot more codependent dog people here. I have to give another vote for the terriers, notoriously big dogs in small packages, who can simultaneously be the sweetest dogs ever and the biggest badarses. Sadly, I have more pix of my furred and feathered babies than I've taken of my actual kids lately, which I think puts me firmly into eccentric old lady territory.
