I love the dark meat, and smothered in gravy. The white meat is pretty good for sandwiches the next day though.

Yes. One year we had a big pot of the secret family spaghetti sauce, and had spaghetti, lasagna, and a bunch of other Italian dishes. It was great!

Not any living anymore. But both my maternal and paternal grandparents were immigrants that met and married in America. Unfortunately, the only one I ever met was my maternal grandfather. This kind of history just fascinates me. And I wonder how many people in this country realize they are but a couple generations away from living in Europe right now.

4) What is your favorite vegetable?

I like most veggies, but prefer frozen and fresh over canned. My favorites are mixed broccoli and cauliflower, or Brussel sprouts, and buried in butter!

Yes. My mother decided at age 75 that she wanted her own PC and to learn how to cruise the net. So we got her set up with a wireless router and her own PC. I knew it would be a headache, and I had to start by teaching her how to double-click, right-click, select, send and retrieve email, etc. My siblings threatened to disown me forever or hire a hit on me for setting mom up with email, LOL!

Yes, especially when the weather gets cold and dry. But I have a secret weapon for that - a long armed back scratcher.

- - - It used to be white until my taste buds and culinary skills matured. I find the dark meat (unless it's massacred) much more interesting and flavorful. I don't dislike white meat, but it's not as much fun or pleasantly complex.

- - - I am methodical, but try to avoid the task as much as possible. I never go without a clear, specific objective and when I did do family grocery shopping, I took a list that was organized by aisle, ending with frozen goods, always.

- - - if I did, that would mean that I had serious problem-solving deficiencies... so, no. Unless I were paralyzed, it is not possible for me to not figure out a way to deal with an itch on any part of my back. Bears seem to have mastered this, so I try to stay at least as sharp as an itchy grizzly on a bad day. : )
