Happy Freakin' Thanksgiving!
Today I'm stuck with my entire family for turkey in Wisconsin. I hate these family gatherings because my mom never treats me as well as she does my sister, her husband and son, and their extended family. I can't even talk to my mom because it always seems to make her mad. Gosh, I'm sorry I forgot: My sister and her family are more important because of "the baby." (who's almost THREE!) I'm the only one in the house right now who gets treated like a nuisance instead of a houseguest like everybody else.

If I end up having to spend Christmas this way, I'm staying home with just my kitties. My sister and her family are supposed to spend it in Iowa again this year, leaving me with my parents all to myself in WI (so mom treats me RIGHT), but they are so unpredictable one just never knows....:eyes:

2. well, that sucks
I do know exactly what you mean though. This summer, visiting my parents for the first time in over a year, I got in a huge fight with my dad and left to stay at a hotel. My siblings get treated like guests, and I get treated like I'm 15. My brother has explained to them that this shit has to stop, apparently even years before the blow up, but maybe it's sunk in now. I don't have the time or money to go home for thanksgiving, but I think I'm going to go for Christmas.... I think things will be better then (fingers crossed).
