1. In protest, you should eat a Lexus. That's what I plan to do.

5. People who are well insulated against the economic uncertainty
The Bu$hites have dealt to the rest of us - i.e. the Uber-rich, who are the only people who could possibly afford a Lexus anyway.

Only nice thing I can say is that they're less obnoxious than Hummer customers. But not by much.

6. Yeah, But That's Me!
My wife and i own our house. We have one small car loan, but have two really nice cars and decent third one. (I drive it in the winter and park my ragtop for the winter.)

My 401k didn't take a beating because i'm heavy into bonds, and my personal investments were positive for the year.

We won't be worrying about food upon my retirement.

So, per your suggestion, that commercial is about me, but i think it's a ridiculous concept.

So, i'm still asking myself the same question. Who are those commercials for?

17. I Accept That In Two Ways
1) That is the most likely astute answers.
2) As a compliment! Thanks, much.

8. Saw Cadillac ads for their SUV (Escalade). It's on sale for
around $58,000.
Lists for nearly $70,000.

Hope they didn't make too many....

12. Isn't car-buying a joint decision for most married couples?
I'm not sure I would want my SO to pick out a car for me.

13. I hate all the fucking christmas commercials. It's like you are supposed to spend
a brazillion dollars on crap that has nothing to do with christmas. :grr: I hate how everything holiday has just been an excuse for crass commercialism.
