Best Holiday time to buy a car?
I've got an eye on a Prius that I want. Should I wait till late december? Christmas day? When is the best time for the sales?

1. Normally, late in December is the way to go, but everything I've been hearing is that
this month would be the best opportunity, so today would probably be the optimal time actually. I know GM has their red tag sale and bonus cash going on until 1/5/09, so probably anytime between now and the end of the year would be good.

and this year they will be dying for a sale. Get your financing from a credit union or bank up front, know what you want, be prepared to walk out if you don't get it.
