I am looking for one with a hard disk drive, but the prices are still to high.

3. I would love one with a hard drive but they are way out of the price range yet.

The mini DVD disc ones are kind of cool and inexpensive but having to buy the media for them would be a deal breaker. I can use the tape over and over again.

7. I have two high 8 tape type camcorders.

My camera can record up to one hour of video on a memory card, really good video in stero.

I will just have to use that until the prices come down.

The local "insurance" discount outlet is having a tent sale today. The electronics have a 7 day return policy, but a full manufacturer warranty.
