Kitty Puke Roasting on a Pellet Stove...
Smells like the holidays in here.

My girl Ben just had some dinner and took up her favorite cold-weather spot on top of the burning pellet stove. I came upstairs to the loft to play around online and -- hork hork hork hork.

I went downstairs thinking she had found a spot on the floor to retch, but she went ahead with it right on top and down the front of the stove. Lovely.

Here's a shot of the criminal at the scene on a different day.

2. Ew.
She's usually pretty good at getting to the floor and finding a clear spot. This one must have snuck up on her.

She's sitting on my lap now, as I type. Prolly got a sick little tummy.

How was your Thanksgiving yesterday?

4. It sounds like you have a month to plan for a great Christmas.
My Thanksgiving was really good. We had three or four quiet hours, just my parents and my closest sister.

Then my older sister arrived with her husband, two boys, and their little toy dog.

Then my nieces showed up, one with a boyfriend. By that time it was pretty late and I'd had a good evening, so the chaos didn't bother me much. We sort of wrapped up and I came home.

But the afternoon was great. We all got to talk, fix food, tell jokes, look out at the back property, and enjoy the fall weather.
