1. vicodin does rock
I wish I had some now. Sometimes booze just won't cut it.

It seems that the lounge is either sleepy, or just sad, depressed, angry, and lonely like me tonight.

2. Well, I sure wish I could e-vicodin you!!! I don't think that's possible
so..I will take another in your honor! :D How was your Thanksgiving? My sister did something different with her stuffing this year ( I really want to know what it was ) since I'm not a big fan of stuffing...but I had three helpings of the shit!!! Plus, there were two ( yes, two ) turkeys there!!. Over 40 lbs of it, and I'm feeling all bloated and shit...still!! Eighteen people there last night.

Leftovers rock, though..:hi: Lonely here, too if that's any consolation :(

3. thanksgiving was just me
I'm in England, where thanksgiving doesn't exist.

I don't eat turkey, so I had mashed potatoes, meatballs, gravy, and vegetables. It was pretty good. I watched TV for the first time in ages.

I love stuffing, but the only way that I know how to make it makes loads of it, so it would have been too much for just me.

5. My sister makes this savory stuffing...kind of hard to describe here
she must have added something different since in the past I could only eat a spoonful or so. It always seemed like diced bread with seasonings and shit. I guess as I get older I am gaining a greater appreciation for it, but it was very good. Yours sounded pretty good, but here is the kicker....what kind of vegetables did you have? There was only one this year ( honey glazed carrots ) and only one vegetable is very unusual for us since we usually do at least three different kinds ( green beans, carrots, cauliflower and cheese ). Seems everyone is cutting down on things! Wow, the economy sucks!:D

6. carrots, cauliflower, and broccoli
I thought of passing on the vegetables, but they had a nice bag of these three, fresh, mixed together at the store for cheap - cooking for one is hard.

In retrospect, I should have had sausage instead of meatballs - there are great sausages here.... oh well, live and learn.

8. no Stovetop there?
A box of Stovetop will make enough for four servings -- not a huge amount for one person to get through in a couple of days.

28. there is stovetop-like stuffing
I've made it before, but for thanksgiving, I thought I should have either the real thing or nothing. Stuffing is one of the few things I can make that is actually very good.

7. Hey! I've had this prescription close to a week now, since I had an abscess tooth treated
Edited on Sat Nov-29-08 12:57 AM by TK421
they had to go in there and drain the thing and I still have to go for a root canal ( on my #6 tooth, incisor, of all fuckers ). Funny thing is, the oral surgeon gave me a choice; he could pull that tooth and I would have been done, or I could save the tooth with a root canal. I didn't want to lose that tooth ( it would be too noticeable ) so once I have the root canal, I am finally over this hump.

The vicodin has helped, but I think it's helping a bit too much now!!!!!R@#$4 I"M SERIESWW#

10. Let's just say that Dr Dentist, um, knows me
The little white pill knocks me on my ass.

Which is good, 'cause my mouth hurts like hell
anytime it's messed with by metallic tools.

Never, EVER, would I use opiates to get high.
They're FAR too valuable at those times they're
needed for their intended purpose.

Edited on Sat Nov-29-08 02:21 AM by TK421
my script, however cost me twenty bucks. Not bad, considering I still have at least fifteen of these fuckers left ( and I have shared them ). Dude, I don't consider these to be opiates, though ( I know they ARE, I'm just saying ) the dosage isn't that much more the equivalent of downing maybe three beers at once....um, wait...forget I said that.

They are quite mild

nope, you're right! It's hydrocodone/apap 7.5. Script was substituted for generic, Vicodin! Good call!

Hey...did they give me shitty stuff? I'm going to have to have Skittles go kick their asses!!!

Basically a Tylenol 3 with hydrocodone instead of codeine.

Did I mention, LTwife is an RN? No you got the "good" stuff.

I'm also familiar with foot pain.
Can I ask you something? Has your doctor ever given you a hard time about refilling your pain meds?

27. The reason I ask this is because my mom had a hard time getting her Lortab refilled
on several occasions...and I understand on some level. Knowing my mom, she doesn't abuse any drugs, she was in real pain, but her doctor gave her a hard time because of the nature of the drug.

33. It's the Fed
Because of the Federal regulations regarding controlled substances, things like Vicodin - this I know from personal experience - can only be refilled within certain time frames. For instance, I got a bottle of 120 Vicodin ES. That's supposed to last me a month.

If I tried to refill it after, say, two weeks, the pharmacist would be unable to do it because of the Federal laws. Even a doctor writing a new scrip won't overrule that.

26. Good to know..I've never had lortab prescribed to me, but my mom has in the past
still not sure what the hydrocodone is but thanks for the good vibes. The oral surgeon even told me that it shouldn't be anything to worry about, maybe it's a precautionary measure they take? The whole thing started out in the evening with a sore on my lip ( I've had these types of sores before..kind of like if you ate something too hot, but then it just goes away ) well..this one got much MUCH worse the next morning when I woke up and the right side of my face was swollen like I had been in a boxing match the night before, as well as a swollen-shut eye. Imagine my panic when I woke up and couldn't feel the right side of my face and got up to look in the mirror....

That sucked ass......
