I had something good happen!

My new ISP, tech support, did NOT hang up on me and I actually got real help and a compliment
from the guy I did get on the phone and he escalated my issue to the engineers for Monday
morning and since we finally did got off the phone (2 hour phone call!); I haven't lost connectivity at all!!

I'm sooo happy !! :D

I found a lot of good music at the library today

I am exposing my daughter to the old stuff. She is getting me up to date on the new music. It's quite bonding.

I was laughing last year that my son kept "discovering" all the music I used to listen to
when I was in my teens and he was sooo excited about it but now, he listens to the top 20
and a lot of screaming alternative music. *sigh*

They live in the city, and we're out here in the country. I think they like it here, and I love having them here. :)

10. Just popped a couple of decongestants

and downed two whole glasses of water in the process.

Glad you're drinking water! That seems to work for me and I usually can kick a cold
in a day or two with a lot of water and rest, when I can get it!

As for brandy? Have at it!! :P

Unfortunately the decongestants mean I DEFINITELY can't go out tonight. Last time I drove after taking 'em I started to get sleepy and lose focus halfway through the drive. :scared: Made it in one piece, but there were a few minutes there when I was contemplating pulling over.

24. We got the kitchen re-painted!

I should say re-re-painted. Before we moved in, my wife faux-painted the kitchen. She never really liked how it turned out. So, yesterday, we started re-faux-painting it. After finishing two walls, she finally agreed with me that it looked horrible and we needed to start from scratch, and preferably give up this "faux foolishness," as I called it.

So, today, we got some new paint and did the whole thing solid, and it looks great. We actually had fun doing it.

Not the most exciting weekend, I'll grant you. But it's nice to have it done.
