Turkey Dinner part Deux, who else is roasting a 2nd turkey?
We finished the first bird yesterday. A 12 1/2lb bird for two humans and two ravenous teeniboppers did not work for us, so a second bird is needed for sandwiches. Before leftovers there has to be firstovers so tonight we're having we're another brined, roasted turkey, with most of the trimmings. Hopefully this time around the little puerco's will leave enough for lunch sammies.

1. Went to my sisters for Thanksgiving.
17 people and no left overs to take home. My husband was complaining about not having turkey sandwiches. Today I made another turkey with the works, stuffing, sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes and turkey gravy. We even popped open a lovely can of cranberry sauce to go with it. My husband and youngest daughter are both sleeping and the kitchen is a mess. I am not cleaning since I had to do the cooking.

3. Good for you, if I cook I want help cleaning up.
We are having mashed potato's with gravy, home made cranberry sauces, stuffing, and rolls. Dinner won't be reading for another hour.

2. Little MB and I are finishing off the turkey tonight
Last night we went to a "turkey soup" party where we all brought a bit of turkey to add to the pot and the result was delicious.

4. We have a little turker soup still left but it is heavy rosemary and thime spiced.
This is kind of a flu variety of turkey bone soup. I'm the last one in the household still sick. The second soup will be a little milder.

5. Does verbal roasting count?
I have been roasting the GM of my beloved Packers today after the embarassment that passed for a football game. He's a bit of a turkey.
