How can I stream audio wirelessly to my home stereo? |
|
I want to be able to send my computer music collection to my regular ol' home stereo via my wireless home network. I've heard about a device by Linksys, the "Music Bridge." Anybody tried this? Does it work?
Thanks in advance for your invaluable expertise ...

8. Do you have a PS3 or an XBox? |
|
If you have one of these, or a receiver with uPNP support, you can already do it. PC to XBox360 streaming can happen through Windows Media Center. If you have a classic XBox, a PS3, or some other uPNP device, you can install Google Media Server to stream to them instead.
My PS3 is jacked into my receiver, and GMS lets me stream all of my audio into my home stereo from my PC on another floor. Since my PS3 has WiFi built in, that accomplishes what you asked for.
