"Magik trik" reminds me of a photo I should've taken. Huck was just emerging from my kittehs' collapsable tunnel toy when Tom was going in at the other end. It looked like one freakishly long orange tabby. :rofl:

11. We just "rescued" two Pyrenees...

Adopted them, actually. The people who found them wandering in the wilds of PA , brought them in, and got them back to good health did the rescuing.
We just get to enjoy them now. They are incredibly sweet, and, nutty though it may sound, they seem to be profoundly grateful for their new good luck.
I'm absolutely sure that if we need any rescuing around here, they'll be ready. And now I have to wipe my eyes and blow my nose. Thank you for all the lovely LOLcats.

48. I love the little guys, the two last ones, but the first one choked me up...

You know that my guys have all been rescue and I have a bumper sticker that has pride of place (along with New Yorkers for Kerry-Edwards, Obama '08, Gillibrand for Congress, Support the Troops. Bring Them Home Now., DU, etc.), came with my sweet little Sara, that says Want a Dog? Rescue One. O8)

BTW, I saw Daisy when I stopped at my local market on Thursday. She was alone in the car in her little seat, wearing a pink sweater, and wagged her tail when I tapped on the window. Your wife was either getting groceries, at the bank or the liquor store. She was parked in between... ;)

It's been a rough week. We lost Charlie, the Airedale, Jackie's BFF, on Monday and it's been awful. At least we got to see him again and I did whatever I could, getting his meds, cooking for him, sitting with him, etc. At least we had that... We miss him so much. ;(
