Mankind vs. Undertaker - Hell In A Cell (6/28/98), Pittsburgh, Pa.
I apologize for the poor lighting in some photos. I was half in the bag when I was wrapping this up and it looked fine to me at the time.

Mankind arrives at the Titantron entrance and he appears to have a chair.

Mankind is surveying the Cell.

What's he doing? Mankind just threw the chair he brought with him on top of the cell.

Mandkind is scaling the cell!

It seems that Mankind is determined to start this match on top of the cell.

And the Undertaker has finally arrived.

The lights dim for the Phenom's entrance.

As the audience hold their lighters over head as is custom whenever the Undertaker makes his entrance.

The Undertaker has reached the ring. What will he do?

The Undertaker has taken on Mankind's challenge and is scaling the cell. Mankind meets him at the edge with a series of blows.

But 'Taker counters to give himself some breathing room and save him from a fatal fall.

Mankind takes control on top of the cell.

And Mankind cracks a chair shot across the back of the Phenom.

Mankind brings the Undertaker to the edge of the cell and prepares to suplex him over the edge.

But the Undertaker counters and has Mankind heading toward the edge..

and Mankind is airborne!

Oh my god! Mankind just crashed into the Spanish announcing team's table!

Somebody stop the match!

The Undertaker takes in his destruction with pride.

Several wrestlers break kayfabe to check on Mankind's condition; even Vince McMahon has broken character to show genuine concern.

Oh my goodness! As Mankind is being carted away by EMS he gets a second wind!

And mankind is scaling the cell again, and Undertaker is meeting him on the other side.

Mankind is taking some serious blows without much resistance.

'Taker has Mankind ready for the goozle.

And Mankind is choke slammed into the roof of the cell.

Oh my god, the roof gave way!

Again, will somebody stop the damn match!

Terry Funk is checking on his good friend Mick Foley while the Undertaker is descending into the ring.

After fruitlessly trying to protect his friend, Terry Funk is about to be a victim of the goozle.

After choke slamming Terry Funk the Dead Man escorts him outside of the ring.

In a patented move the Undertaker brings Mankind to the corner in a wristlock. This is one of his favorite moves. We can expect the big forearm to Mankind's chest.

But Mankind counters and sends 'Taker to the ropes crotch-first!

Look at Mankind! He's smiling! How he's still conscious I'll never know.

Mankind has the Phenom ready for the stump-puller pile driver.

And 'Taker is driven skull first into the chair.

Mankind is going for the finish as he places the chair over Undertaker's face and delivers a leg drop.

Mankind goes for the cover but Undertaker just barely kicks out.

Mankind hooks on the double arm DDT - his finisher from his Japan wrestling days. This could be it.

Instead of going for the pin Mankind left the ring and returned with a sack. What's he pulling out of that sack?

OH MY GOD IT'S THUMBTACKS! THUMBTACKS! And this audience is on its feet!

Mankind has the mandible claw slapped on! This is usually end-game.

But here comes Undertaker. He has Mankind perched on his back.

Oh my! Undertaker just slammed Mankind into the thumbtacks. I'm sure that's not what Mankind had in mind.

'Taker has Mankind ready for the goozle once again.

And into the thumbtacks goes Mankind again! It's a good thing he enjoys pain.

Instead of going for the pin, Undertaker is giving Mankind the tombstone piledriver. This is just personal now!

'Taker goes for the pin as this match mercifully ends.

Lets give it up for Mick Foley, the man, the legend as he's led out of the ring. This is a man too proud to be led from the ring on a stretcher more than once.

3. So Mankind is a wrestling guy...
Undertaker is not attempting to kill all living people? That's good.

4. Where's Socko?
That was an awesome recreation. Better than 99% of those battlefield recreations that take place in Podunksville.

12. Aww
I sent out a few pm's to you and a few others who I thought would appreciate this. I think I spent 10 hours total (minus the the movie I watched, drinks and smokes I had, and the dinner) in making this, filming it, uploading it, formating it, captioning it and so forth. I'm dedicated to my art. :D

I'll do that one definitely. Possibly next as I broke out the HIAC (it was in storage). I had trouble putting it back together and I still 8 pieces left that I couldn't figure out what to do with.

In a more somber note - I lost Mankind's mask. I think the cats took it. :(

15. I made sure to have it up on Youtube
I got almost every spot in there save for the stair shots (I own the stairs but I didn't think it would come out right) and 'Taker's dive out of the ring.

That was brilliant. The candles for undertaker's entrance was great too. :D

23. That was the old WWE rings too if I remember
Didn't have as much give so when Mick Foley hit . . . it was quite brutal

I always thought it was more of a trainwreck than an actual match. With that being said it is required view for the bumps and for Jim Ross breaking character and legitmately pleading.

Don't sell the Taker short either. The fact he was able to do what he can to keep a near dead Mick Foley still part of the match is incredible.

At RAW. Then have a little Tony Shiavone figure on a tv set giving away the ending to the match!

39. I own the LOD, but not the Steiners
Those were great matches and Scott had a badass mullet.

I may start trying to do my own customs. I can order them made for not much money but it might be fun to to it myself. I'm already planning on going to craft stores to build props. :o
