46. Wonder how many people here know the deal with the "Redlegs"
That was baseball's Cincinnati Reds, who for I think 3 seasons in the mid-50's changed their name to the Redlegs, just to make sure nobody thought they were commies. True story...

9. I know what it is far too well... I spent three years working at a pizza place near a college.
Super Bowl day was 'Work your ass off' day for those three years.

On the plus side, they paid us time and a half. And I got peace and quiet in the back and didn't have to deal with customers, 'cause I was the only one who didn't want to be near the TV the entire time. :P

10. Teams of large men wearing shoulder pads.
Their job is to throw a ball around and/or jump on top of the person with the ball.

I'm not sure how it works beyond that.

16. I've seen large men in shoulder pads. I've seen them jump on each other.
By the time there was jumping, the pads were usually off.

This was in the seventies, mind you.

It may still happen today. ;)

The only way I know is that I have money on the Steelers. Now you think you may be outa touch but a co-worker who follows sports nonetheless had no idea how the Baltimore Ravens got their name. When I explained it, he pretended it wasn't important.

Watching France24's news broadcast, they had a story about how the bad economy was affecting it. The Pittsburg Steelers and the New Zealand All-Blacks, right? I know Manchester United isn't playing. In the play-offs, they couldn't get enough wickets for a bingo.

I currently have 5,275,148 XP

I'm not even halfway there yet. I'm 40% of the way there as of right now.
