I just realized that I've done NO cooking today! |
|
I had quiche for breakfast...(a local vendor makes it and it's wonderful!)
And then lunch was leftovers from our lunch out yesterday...
I was going to cook tonight, but I didn't feel too great this afternoon, so we ordered a pizza...
No cooking.
Pretty unusual for me!
I'd better feel good tomorrow...I want to cook!

3. Heh, that's funny, because that's a normal day for me! |
|
I don't cook (other than heating up stuff), so it's a very rare occasion where I do anything besides nuke something, or make a salad, in my kitchen.

Well, what's normal for one is often not normal for someone else!
I might very well live like you do, if I were alone too...but my husband enjoys my cooking, such as it is!
I think you have a good system for you!

6. It works. I do really miss home cooking though... |
|
my ex-wife was a very good cook, and it's taken me some time to get used to not eatings homemade meals (I'm the worst cook in the universe, which is part of the reason why my ex- didn't let me in "her kitchen").
However, on the flip side, I've learned where some of the best restaurants and delis in town are, so it's not a total loss. :hi:

7. I always am stumped on what to have for supper on Sunday night. For some reason it's always more |
|
difficult to plan that night than any other. So, cereal again!

Well...let me see.
How about something left over from some previous meal? Or do you always eat everything up?
Or...you could do what we did: Order a pizza from a local place that delivers!
Cereal sounds pretty desperate...

11. Oh, no -- not desperate, just lazy. I am quite a good cook during the week, but Mr. Ogneopasno |
|
tends to eat all the leftovers at work. Which is what he should do, of course. So by Sunday, it's maybe spaghetti with a little olive oil and fresh parmesan, or a salad, or.....cereal in jammies with the NYT crossword. :)

I was going to make a big lunch and got to loving the biscuits and gravy and waited for the rest. I basically nibbled and cleaned all day. A good day indeed.
