Michael Phelps has summarily negated the notion that stoners are lazy & unproductive. |
|
Why doesn't the media point THAT out. Huh?
I see this debacle as an opportunity!

I remember reading an interview with Willie Nelson years ago. I almost gasped when he mentioned that, due to his advancing age, he had quit doing drugs. The interviewer said, "You mean you don't smoke pot anymore?" Willie's response: "Hell, pot ain't a drug, it's a herb."

9. great interview with Willie |
|
in the current Rolling Stone. There's a picture of him on his bus with a tray of pot in front of him. He did say that he was using one of those devices that incinerates the pot without a flame to help his lungs out.

11. We don't know if he is a stoner... |
|
I've smoked pot, but I don't do it enough to consider myself a stoner.
However, I do have friends who smoke pot all the time, a group I do call stoners, and they're so brain raped, I can only take them in doses.

Pot is like any other drug: some people can do it in moderation, and some people can't.
I had a stepbrother go through rehab because he was one of those people who could not use drugs in moderation. His drug of choice? Pot and hashish. His brain is still recovering from over-use/abuse, and he got clean a few years ago.
Pot may not be as dangerous as other drugs, but it's still a drug. Many people forget that because it's just a plant. Cocaine in its basic form is just a plant, too. Opium comes from poppies. That's just a pretty flower.
Hopefully for Phelps, this is just use in moderation, and not a habit of some sort.

I'm a stoner, and once we went to these caves in the Midwest, and I was like, "Who brought the sandwiches?". It was then that I realized that I had gone by myself because no one answered. But I got the golden ankh anyways. That's how you know it was a good night. I also met a rabbit.
Wait...what?

17. Michael Phelps supports terrorists |
|
By consuming an illegal product procured on the black market. The money used to buy that product goest toward the purchase of guns and bombs, and supports terror organizations which aim to bring about the financial downfall of the United States and to impose islamic law on the entire world population.
By smoking marijuana, Michael Phelps is hastening the complete destruction of life as we know it. Way to go dude!

Rememer the 1,000,000 calorie-a-day diet he was on during the Olympics? The endless stacks of pancakes?
How do you think he ate all that?
