A question about Secret Service protection |
|
Do adult children of a sitting president get secret service protection? Do grandchildren of a sitting president get protection?

I think adult children of a sitting president do get the protection...
I'm not so sure about grandchildren, though...
Good questions!
What prompted you?

The adult children of a sitting president recieve SS protection, also anytime the grandchildren are in the presence of the principal, or in the same city. The family generally falls under the same blanket, unless there is a specific threat.

so school-age grandchildren would receive protection, as they would most likely be in the same city as their parents.
