What would be a good song to have as a ringback for an ex-significant other ... |
|
to have to listen to should they ever call. I'm thinking about burning my own mix cd for this topic. My ringback tone is Change the Lock by Tom Petty and would definitely be on my mix cd. What other songs would you suggest for this cd?

47. Oh good grief - I thought I was the only one left who ever heard that song... |
|
man, that album made my father and I giggle...
How about "Big Socks" by Bette Midler? (but you have to make sure you read the lyrics... they're pretty amusing).
I tried to come up with some more, but I'm drawing a blank... sorry.

49. Jaws is really funny. |
|
I like the Jaws idea. First thing I thought of was The Bitch is Back, although the lyrics to the entire song are not completely appropriate. And wasn't there a song with lyrics "girl don't go away mad, girl just go away?" Maybe that one.

|
What a mean song, from Bigger Cooler Weirder: "I don't like your new friends and I hate your stupid hair CUT!" This was the CD that had "Free Love!" and may have been the biggest commercial success. I couldn't find walk away on youtube but a sample is here http://www.artistdirect.com/nad/store/artist/album/0,,181456,00.htmlhttp://www.voice-farm.com/index4.htmChange the Lock is an awesome Lucinda tune (no bridge! a first): this youtube of her and Elvis doing it shreds. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mM2xXesHSwMBest wishes farming the resentment ;)

Death On Two Legs lyrics
You suck my blood like a leech You break the law and you breach Screw my brain till it hurts You've taken all my money - you still want more, Misguided old mule With your pigheaded rules With your narrow - minded cronies who are fools of the first division- Death on two legs - You're tearing me apart, Death on two legs You never had a heart of your own - Kill joy, Bad guy, Big talking, Small fry You're just an old barrow - boy Have you found a new toy to replace me, Can you face me - But now you can kiss my ass goodbye Feel good, are you satisfied Do you feel like suicide (I think you should) Is your conscience all right Doesn't blame you and I Do you feel good - Feel good! Talk like a big business tycoon, But you're just a hot - air balloon, So no one gives you a damn, You're just an overgrown school - boy Let me tan your hide. A dog with disease, King of the 'sleaze' Put your money where your mouth is Mr. Know all, Was the fin on your back part of the deal...(shark!) Death on two legs You're tearing me apart Death on two legs - You never had a heart of your own, (You never did, right from the start) Insane you should be put inside, You're a sewer - rat decaying in a sex pool of pride Should be made unemployed Then make yourself null - and - void, Make me feel good I feel good.

Lets just say my ex and I do not get along, and leave it at that.
Actually, if he had my number, I'd have to set my phone to do something dramatic, say alert the police, light itself on fire, then douse the ashes with holy water to remove the evil spirits, if he ever called me.
