Help me settle last night's raging argument between MrLara and I.
You can cook pizza rolls AND a pizza in the oven at the same time, right?
It is not rocket science, and it will not cause the oven to implode on itself.

1. YES WE CAN!
Especially if the temperature for each of them is the same, and I think it is 450° for both.

11. What the fuck is his problem? Did he want to nuke the rolls?
They're not as good that way.

2. Oh my God!!! NNNNNOOOOOOO!!!!!
You can not ever mix food in the oven.

What are you thinking!

Bad things can happen when you do that.

10. I think the problem there...
was that you placed the cookies ON the Lutefish.

12. No. I was especially careful to put the baking sheet on the top shelf and the lutefisk dish on ...
the bottom rack. But the odor somehow wafted up.

3. Sure, throw in a quesadilla too - the oven can handle it!
And it doesn't matter if the temperatures are different - 350/400 or 400/450 - just add some cooking time to the one with the higher listed temperature. I've cooked all kinds of odd mixes and they work fine. The oven can handle it, but you might have to talk nice to it if you're going to stuff those pizza rolls in it - that's sort of insulting to ovens (but I like them anyway).

9. Yes! I am a proponent of wiggle room in baking time/temp
when the items are fairly resilient.
A souffle? No. Pizza rolls? Yeah.

15. Well I can top that ... we did the turkey, the stuffing, the bacon AND the potatoes & parsnips.
Well, it was Christmas not Thanksgiving... but how else are you going to do roast potatoes and roast parsnip?

Mark.

16. Just don't make pasta and antipasto at the same time
That will cause an implosion and a rip in the space-time continuum.
