I heard a commercial on the radio today, and I wasn't sure if it was for real or not....

....so I googled it, and yes, it was legit.

It was for a service called "Ashley Madison." What does it do? Provides a personal ad service exclusively for married people seeking to have an affair. I believe they advertised it for people seeking "an affair to remember."

Heh. Rather brazen, don't you think? I'm no expert on affairs, but I always thought they just happened. Didn't know there was actually a market for people to go out and seek out an affair.

2. Well, the statistics show a large number of people on dating sites are married, so why not cater to
them exclusively. Heck, I wish I'd thought of that service.

4. That's pretty sad

Unless the people using it are in an open marriage where both spouses are OK with it, that's pretty sad. I googled it and couldn't get to the site (blocked from work) but I did find an article that quoted a single woman who said she used it because she exclusively dates married men. Yikes. Can you say "ISSUES."

5. I knew a woman like that...
She said that married men don't get all clingy and stuff, so it was less complicated.

I told her, "No, thanks!"

Sounded too complicated for this married man.
