In our Chinatown, you can go fancy (Legend Seafood Restaurant, once written up in the NY Times), unpretentious (a joint down the street where it's $1.25 apiece, in a building that looks like an amateur theatre set of Chinatown, with the red lacquer everything, gilt dragons, etc.), or in between (Eastern Garden out past Waikiki; get everything except the pork hash).
