I went to a wicked boring meeting today, but they handed out
pretty nice insulated coffee mugs, just for showing up. So, that was good. I'm sipping peppermint tea from as we speak.

How was your day?

2. You should capitalize "Chick" just to avoid any confusion
(altho some of the ones from the 70s did get a little racy)

3. Nah. It was about insuring older buildings. You'd be surprised
how much of my time is taken up with insurance-related stuff. Just as Jesus intended.

And, as I say, wicked boring.

But the coffee mug is nice.

5. Mind-numbingly tedious.
Ever try to correct workspace-band problems where you have temporary and extra workspace that overlap each other and not just on the same side of the proposed pipeline route as it takes two opposite right-angle bends within 100' of each other?

9. Basically, it's a square-S
;)

The route has been fixed in place for a while, as have the workspace areas (for when they start digging and laying the pipe.) But I found a big error in the workspace band (an area of the drawing sheet that allows you to see at a glance where all the workspaces are in a linear fashion) and I had to redo it all. It's not as simple as it may sound since if you think about it, you are "flattening" a bend to be viewed in a straight line, and right-angled plots of land don't really translate to that very well. It's hard to explain without pictures and I can't post them due to confidentiality. Describing the problems is okay because you've got no idea where this is or for what client ;)

8. I drove a friend to work today, and we enjoyed a cup of coffee and a talk on the way.
That was nice.

Then I went out to lunch with another friend and we sat and yapped for an hour and a half. That was nice too.

Now? I'm making cinnamon rolls for the kids. They think that's nice.

10. Kids always think baking is nice (and fun.)
That's how I learned to cook, or at least became interested enough to take classes in it later in life :D

12. mixed
good, in that I got a tiny bit of actual work done where some progress was mad towards fulfilling responsibilities. Awful in that I didn't do anything what-so-ever to resolve what's actually important to me and eating me up inside, though I wouldn't even know how.

now idling on the computer listening to Mike Malloy. planning to get ready later and go to an art museum and listen to indie label music and splurge on CDs due to the beneficial exchange rate. maybe i'll follow up with kickin' it with buddies to eat out at a sushi bar or brazilian restaurant. perhaps i'll go get my hair colored and done up for the coming weekend concert... or i could go place a custom order for those beautiful shoes i saw a few months ago. i think i'll have bi bim bap or tonkatsu for lunch. and a little sauna for the afternoon? depends, i don't want to wash my hair so soon in the same day.
