It's dark outside and it's still above zero! Ohhh Yeahhh!
That's how friggin' lame I am.
That's how pathetic my aspirations for my day are.

8. A heatwave, indeed. I shall go to the U of M on Friday, around
midday, to view the college girls in their skimpy clothing out for a bit of sun. It's a February ritual here.

9. Hell, I may have to join you
College babes wearing their spring parkas and snowpants, possibly without gloves and/or hats on. I'm getting giddy just thinking about it! :P

10. Actually, it goes beyond that.
There appears to be a tradition that the first warm day in February, some adventurous young women appear on campus in spring attire. They appear briefly, then disappear in a flash, gone for another two months. But, if you're there at the right time, it's a sight to behold. I'm guessing that Friday, with the temperature just over 40 degrees, will be the day for this spectacle.

Imagine, if you will, the effect of the chilly air. Huzzah! It will rejuvenate my old heart and mind, I have no doubt.

11. That sounds alright. I may have to figure out a way to take Friday afternoon off...
I bet they have tons of free WiFi hotspots around there though... maybe I'll just grab my laptop and wait. :D

BTW, you definitely have to come to a MN meetup, next time we have one. They usually post details in the MN state forum. We had a small one on election night so we're probably due for another one soon. :hi:

7. Yah, up there in Daloot, it'll get close to 30. Down here
in the Cities, though, I'm expecting about 35 tomorrow, and maybe 40 on Friday.

14. I hope it's heading here next
I want the glacier at the foot of my driveway to slide away. After taking the garbage can to the curb I wasn't sure I was going to be able to walk back up it without falling.
