We have a small one
The wife likes to fish but I just love being on the water relaxing, letting the blood pressure go down until some dickhead on a jetski or fast boat zooms by and creates a wake.

Racing was fun but alot of work and boredom. Never been one to sit around a boat and drink, although socializing is a major activity at many marinas.

26. Lyle Lovett - Kiss my ass, I bought a boat, I'm going out to sea
One of my favorite songs for some unknown reason, probably because my favorite part is the one about Tonto!!!

If I had a boat
I'd go out on the ocean
And if I had a pony
I'd ride him on my boat
And we could all together
Go out on the ocean
Me upon my pony on my boat

If I were Roy Rogers
I'd sure enough be single
I couldn't bring myself to marrying old Dale
It'd just be me and trigger
We'd go riding through them movies
Then we'd buy a boat and on the sea we'd sail

And if I had a boat
I'd go out on the ocean
And if I had a pony
I'd ride him on my boat
And we could all together
Go out on the ocean
Me upon my pony on my boat

The mystery masked man was smart
He got himself a Tonto
'Cause Tonto did the dirty work for free
But Tonto he was smarter
And one day said kemo sabe
Kiss my ass I bought a boat
I'm going out to sea

And if I had a boat
I'd go out on the ocean
And if I had a pony
I'd ride him on my boat
And we could all together
Go out on the ocean
Me upon my pony on my boat

And if I were like lightning
I wouldn't need no sneakers
I'd come and go wherever I would please
And I'd scare 'em by the shade tree
And I'd scare 'em by the light pole
But I would not scare my pony on my boat out on the sea

And if I had a boat
I'd go out on the ocean
And if I had a pony
I'd ride him on my boat
And we could all together
Go out on the ocean
Me upon my pony on my boat

27. Come Sail Away?
Im sailing away, set an open course for the virgin sea
Ive got to be free, free to face the life thats ahead of me
On board, Im the captain, so climb aboard
Well search for tomorrow on every shore
And Ill try, oh lord, Ill try to carry on

I look to the sea, reflections in the waves spark my memory
Some happy, some sad
I think of childhood friends and the dreams we had
We live happily forever, so the story goes
But somehow we missed out on that pot of gold
But well try best that we can to carry on

A gathering of angels appeared above my head
They sang to me this song of hope, and this is what they said
They said come sail away, come sail away
Come sail away with me
Come sail away, come sail away
Come sail away with me

I thought that they were angels, but to my surprise
They climbed aboard their starship and headed for the skies
Singing come sail away, come sail away
Come sail away with me
Come sail away, come sail away
Come sail away with me

...working for a Bank. While I love my job, I would rather be out on the ocean writing, taking pictures, just enjoying my life. My husband would revel in being able to just sail and do what he wanted to do. He'd spend most of his time playing with the weather machines on the boat. Cause that's how he rolls.

We have a boat.

It is rarely used and costs us marina fees.

Wonderful in concept, impractical in execution. Better to rent a boat when the urge to sail comes on us, much more economical.
