2. My window motor is going out, so I have to help the window up

sometimes. My brain forgot to relay the "move your hand" info to my hand. x(

It is beyond past the time for a new car. I have been putting it off because my car is paid for. I don't want a payment! x(

3. I'm glad I don't have electric anything on my Civic.

And it's only a 2004, too, so not so "ancient" that the electrics weren't an option. But, in this area, because of the possibility of flooding, you can easily lose power, so all such "convenience" systems shut down and you get trapped. Hand-cranked, manual-operated is the way to go for anything to do with your car doors :D
