i really wish my neighbor would scoop the poop from his backyard |
they have three dogs and a small yard. instead of actually getting rid of the poop, he just dumps it on a pile of leaves in the yard, so i get to see and smell the turn mountain when i'm on the patio.

2. but does he throw out the poop or does he just leave it in a pile? |
i'm sure it's hard to keep up with three dogs, it's the fact that he just makes a pile of it in the yard that is grossing me out.

i'm so bad at that kind of stuff, not wanting to make trouble and all, but it's getting to the point that i don't want to be outside.

7. I have three dogs and I manage to dispose of their poop properly. |
Here, we can put it in the garbage (double bagged). There is probably a city or county ordinance that addresses the issue of animal waste, especially in a residential neighborhood. It is a health hazard, not to mention a nuisance that interferes with your lawful enjoyment of your own property. Check with your local health department and/or zoning department for specifics and suggestions on appropriate actions. If your neighbor is in some way physically unable to do more, there are pet poop cleanup services available.
Sorry for the soapbox, but this kind of behavior gives even responsible dog owners a bad name. Good luck!

8. I am not too fond of having to talk about stuff like that with neighbors either. |
I really believe it is best for everybody if neighbors get along. Here, it is against the law to put feces into the garbage can. This guy should probably at least bury it though.

9. We had that issue before, I suppose you're excited for summer |
The flies will be everywhere! Our stinky neighbors moved finally, so our issue went away with them. I wish for you fresh air to breathe! :hi:

10. If you can't bring yourself to speak to the neighbor about this, |
send him/her a letter. Be very polite in the letter, but be sure to point out that the dog excrement is a health hazard and a public nuisance. Check your city ordinances or call city hall or your animal control department to find out. Almost every city has ordinances dealing with pet waste. Cite the ordinance in your letter if there is one. The body of the letter can read something like this:
