it was a high priced cast, if not necessarily a good one. :eyes:

I ask for little from movies. I once believed film was an art form, but I've long since abandoned that concept. Most are a theft of my time.

Everyone know to man was in that film, and it was unwatchable.
Then again, that describes almost all of Altman's later flicks.

I've listened to the radio show for years and even got to see a live performance. Garrison Keillor is a national treasure. But the movie? I couldn't get through it. Turned it off after 1/2 hour. I'll stick to the radio show. :)

33. I loved the movie because it was 50% the radio show and 50% a Robert Altman movie. |
|
If it was just any director doing it, it would have been an uninspired retelling of the radio show, but Altman managed to maintain the spirit of the show while putting his own touch on it as well.

But it had a tremendous cast: Jack Nicholson, Glenn Close, Annette Bening, Pierce Brosnan, Danny DeVito, Martin Short, Sarah Jessica Parker, Michael J. Fox...

This is a real tough question to answer, but the first movie that comes to mind is the 80's flick 'Earth girls are easy'.
The film stars Jim Carrey,Geena Davis,Jeff Goldblum, and Damon Wayans.

Keanu-can't-act-his-way-out-of-a-wet-paper-box-Reeves, doing an utterly atrocious English accent --and Winona Ryder doing an equally bad one. That movie was laugh-out-loud bad.
