29. I had a couple of friends I met on the internet there
Back around the turn of the century, when the internet was a new frontier for me...

One lived in a Philadelphia suburb and we used to mail boxes full of music, magazines, videos etc. to each other...we met in a monster movie forum and had a lot of similar tastes...He used to send me copies of "Weird New Jersey" magazine (still have them somewhere) and I learned it is indeed a truly weird state...

The other, a woman, I met on the same forum...she lived in Atlantic City and we started liking ech other...emails turned into phone calls, into one of those weird things you call an "internet romance"...I was going to fly back there and meet her but we both kinda got cold feet about it, and agreed to call it off...(actually it's a longer more interesting story than that)

I was offline for over two years and have moved twice since then, and have fallen out of contact with both of them. Who knows, maybe someday I'll look them up and see if I can find them...

Other than that, the only memory or experience I have about NJ is driving through it as a kid on the way from NY to California and back again...

84. So many things, and too many things to list
Growing up there.
Going to the supermarket with my grandmother.
Going out to dinner with my father, just a one on one thing...
My friends and our little neighborhood.
My grammar school, and our school song.
Watching all those dumb shows I used to watch there, but loved, like "Astroboy" and "Gingantor."
Doing a lot of dangerous and crazy things there that my loving parents had to take me to the doctor to get stitches for.

Someday I need to go back there, just to see what my old neighborhood looks like.
