Ah,you must be American! Lucky you.
Here in Canada,beer does not get sold at the local variety store.
We have to actually go to The Beer Store,and it closes at 9 pm.:(
I would luv to be able to purchase beer anytime of the day.

It all depends on the state you live in. New Orleans has the latest hours for bars, but I'm not sure it that applies to convenience/grocery stores, too. In Texas, beer can be sold up to midnight (or maybe eleven pm) and cannot be sold until daybreak sometime. Bars stay open until 2am, the deadline for selling any alcohol that night.
At least y'all don't have dry counties :o Or, do you?
