Anyone keepin' up at Shircuit Shity's closeout non-sale? |
|
DVD movie titles are almost worth purchasing, at 30% off.
Blu-ray blanks are (what amounts to $14 per blank), if you use those for data archival. (I use hard drives; BR is still too expensive)
You'll still find something like 20 million 'Guitar Hero' boxes at each store, for the same costs-more-than-everywhere-else prices...
30% off of Wii and other games? Don't bother.
Amazing how much is gone despite it all. What a bunch of lollipops. Oops, suckers...
And be sure to whip out your big receipt at the front door.

1. Same thing CompUSA did |
|
Mark everything up to list price, then discount by sale %. I can beat those prices elsewhere in town or online easy.

2. By the time prices at CompUSA got decent, all the worthwhile stuff was gone. |

3. To be fair, it's the liquidation company that's doing it |
|
part of their standard practice is to return everything from a bottle of soda to the most expensive giganto-tron LCD TV to list price before starting with their 10-30% off deals, making the liquidation prices more expensive than you'll find at many other stores. Even worse, people buy the stuff thinking they're getting a good deal!

5. The only thing I contemplated buying when I stopped in |
|
was a CD/DVD burner, 'cause I never got around to getting one before.
If they're still there when I get my tax return I'll grab one. If not... oh well.

6. Buy the burner at newegg.com |
|
Best prices around. They usually have several 20X dual layer burners for under $25 with free shipping.

7. Yeah, the only reason it would have been cheaper to buy it there would have been shipping... |
|
but if I can find one that's free shipping then screw that. :)
