Apparently 100-500 people are adrift on an 8-mile-long ice floe in Lake Erie! :wtf: Why were they on the floe? Perhaps ice fishing... no one knows! Hope they are all OK though! http://www.cnn.com/2009/US/02/07/Ohio.stuck.on.ice/index.html

My Dad has a place not far from there in Port Clinton and those people are really nuts about their fishing...:crazy: Hopefully they are rescued but it sounds like there was warning this could happen...

What a crazy story! It was over 50 degrees here in Columbus today -- I'm sure it was a bit cooler up there, but I still wouldn't have been out on the ice!

Well my dad rents out his condo in the summer time (you can see Lake Erie from his place) so if you and Iza ever want to stay there...:hi:
