for an indoor antenna it worked surprisingly well and the picture is awesome (the content though, often 'meh'). i have cable (perhaps not for long) but not HD and not all the digital channels that you can get over the air.

i had a slightly cheaper antenna that brought in 20 channels, poorly, with this puppy, it picked up 60 (analog + digital). the analog stations come in so poorly they aren't worth the trouble, which is why i have cable, but the digital is making me rethink cable since i have Netflix on demand on a computer connected to my TV anyway.

i'm 15 miles south of SF and i'm getting SF and San Jose stations. The SF PBS station has 4 channels and the San Jose one has 5. The San Jose NBC station has an all sports channel in HD.

now i know i could build one like flvegan did, but it doesn't look as cool.
