How the hell does somebody end up looking like that? I mean, Keith has never struck me as the sort of guy who goes out in the sun a lot, so those lines can't be from sun exposure. The ones around his mouth are clearly from smoking -- those are very telltale. But do years of hard drugs and alcohol abuse really do that to you?

I used to jokingly say that all Nancy Reagan needed to do as part of her "Just Say No" campaign was to put up a picture of Keith Richards with the caption, "Don't do drugs, or you'll end up looking like this."
