I don't want to know that much about every second of peoples' life. No one actually wants to know that much about every second of anyone's life. If you think that people want to know that about you, think again.

Edited on Tue Feb-10-09 08:03 PM by Droopy
I bet you didn't even think I had such a list, but I do, and you were on there. Oh, well. Your loss I guess. Now excuse me while I take a leak and clip my fingernails.

4. Word
I guess it's less annoying than people who talk on the phone at the grocery store, but it's still lame.

6. I am so un-twittered...
Definitely not cool.

And why would I want to be on there? My life isn't that interesting.

7. Twitter
I currently don't have a Twitter account, but am curious to check
it out.

Hey,if it's cool enough for Britney Spears(her's was recently hacked),
then why not.

Is it like Facebook?

8. I suspect the service is primarily for the forever-attached-to-the-skull
iPDAphonepodberry crowd for whom being "in touch" with, well, everyone and in every way possible, is indeed the point of such places as Twittie.

I don't use twit, faceoffbook or myspacedlife. The handful of messageboards I belong to are all the "social networking" I need in my life. The rest of my spare time I'm on my Dana and you wouldn't believe how many people are genuinely interested in it, even as they carry about all those other permanently attached gadgets ;)

11. If you use Twitter, then what you're doing is twitting
I don't care if the proprietors don't like it, but if what you're doing is "tweeting" then your service should be called Tweeter, not Twitter.

15. It's a "social networking" site
much like Facebook or MySpace. I don't know any details beyond that, other than I think it's a lot like texting people, only online.

17. I thought it was lame
until I found out that Warren Ellis and Jhonen Vasquez and John Hodgman and Wil Wheaton are on twitter. Then I joined just to see what they would post, and it's pretty entertaining.

20. I don't myspace or facebook or twitter, but I don't think the idea is
ridiculous. It connects a lot of people who have lost touch and would otherwise not keep in touch.

22. No, you aren't uncool.
Twitter sucks. I had it for my BlackBerry for about a half hour, then I realized how lame it was and got rid of it. It's hard enough coming up with a facebook status.
