Let's create a drink in honor of Barack Obama!
I tried to get this dicussion going in answer to a posting about the Obamas' having a regular happy hour. http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=132&topic_id=8185841&mesg_id=8187388 However, I know that only the great minds of the Lounge are truly worthy of this discussion.
What kind of mixed drink can you come up with to honor President Obama?
All ideas are welcome; please explain your drink if it's not obvious what's in it or why you chose a particular ingredient.
I'll start: Kahlua, Bailey's Irish Creme, Creme de Cacao and Half 'n Half. (If you have this stuff at home, try it and see how it tastes.)

1. Your drink sounds good...
Except I would substitute Godiva Chocolate Liquer for the Creme de Cacao.....

I've never tried Godiva Chocolate liquer. Now you gave me a reason to try it.

6. Google found the Obama Mama
but didn't find anything called the Bahama Obama Mama.
Here's the Obama Mama, as invented by Pam Jensen:

1 oz dark rum
1 oz light rum
2 oz Bailey's® Irish cream
whipped cream

Sounds good but maybe half 'n half instead of whipped cream.

10. The Yeswecan:
Red Bull, seltzer, Irish whiskey, and a dash of Frangelico. Served in a Red Bull can with the lid clipped off.

Red Bull for the positive energy, seltzer for the effervescence, Irish whiskey in honor of "There's No One As Irish As Barack Obama", and Frangelico because it's yum! :9
