4. I think that's the kind I would get if I ever get a dog.
I've always preferred small dogs but this one has changed my mind.

6. That they are!
That brings back memories. My parent's had a female husky from a puppy and she was great (she had arthritis real bad at age thirteen and had to be put down because she wouldn't let anyone near her any longer.)

I once learned to never take her for "walkies" while I was on quad roller skates! :o
However, once I got used to going faster than I thought possible, she wore herself out :P

8. Those white 'eyebrows' in her puppy pictures make her look almost fierce!
Interesting that the white fur mask filled in around her eyes. She's a beautiful dog.

19. Yes but she's very sweet. She loves to run, very active and energetic.
I have a video he sent me of her running around at a dog park, but it's like 35 Mb and the image quality is poor. She just loves the cold weather and running around at the park.

10. Oh what a gorgeous Siberian
I have a black and white male SH with blue eyes myself. His name is Bragi, after the Norse god of music. When we adopted him, his name was (no joke) Bingo. All the way home from his foster family's house, he howled, growled and yowled. So we changed his name. Bragi is huge - over a 100 pounds and wonderful with our daughter. He will go out in the back yard when she is playing and just lay there watching her intently. One time she wandered out of his sight and he set up a howl that didn't stop until I came outside and had her come back to where the dog could see her. When she is outside with him, I don't worry at all - SHs may not be the most protection oriented dogs in the world, but Bragi would tear anything that tried to hurt his kid (and she is HIS kid) limb from limb. He's 10 now and showing his age, although generally in good health. Still, we're concerned that we won't have him many more years. When he goes, we will adopt another SH. I hope that we can find one as pretty as Kya, if a bitch, or Bragi, if a dog.

13. All yours? They're beautiful
I saw on Animal Planet...It's me or my dog. A couple had a husky dog at 9 months old which they couldn't handle. The trainer (I think her name is Victoria) scolded them and told them that their husky required excerise, made them meet a lady with 14 huskies that she could handle them by taking them out for running with cart (like your pictures).

14. Not all mine
...two are, the rest are "family." :)

It's true, they need a ton of exercise. "A tired dog is a good dog."

17. There's no place that makes them happier than that snow.
I used to love feeding ours when I was kid after a snowstorm and trying to guess which lump of snow he was under. :)

last March and had a ball playing with the dogs. The sled ride was out of this world!
