11. Oh no...I like soap. French-milled lavendar.
That fancy kind you see at that store in the mall where they even sell tins of cookies (at least they used to.) However, I don't like body wash although it's good for when you go camping and such.

4. Nothing
You know, it's not hard to come up with something thoughtful for Valentine's Day. I make an extra effort. He should, too.

Let's just say my husband learned this the hard way.

5. Crotchless undies
Ta-cky.

Of course, the mop is pretty bad too. But I could use the Home Depot gift card!

6. Valentines Day gift
Although I would never really expect much of a gift on
Valentines Day,as I think it's highly overrated,I certainly would
not want a kitchen mop.lol

If I got a card from the dollar store,I would be happy.

Although dinner,flowers,jewelery,(whatever you can afford),
is just as good.

It really is the thought that counts.

7. Is there anyone who believes that crotchless panties are a GIFT for the woman?
I'm thinking this is only the case if the woman wearing the panties has a female significant other.

9. Thank you! :D
I once a had boyfriend get me racy lingerie for my birthday -- me, who wore a Calvin Klein tank and undies to bed. When I opened it and didn't plotz like I was supposed to, he got fairly hostile.

Silly me, I thought it was MY birthday we were celebrating, not his. :D

Any man who knows me well, would know a box of Sees candy and a Lowe's gift card would suit me just fine. ;)

(I'd totally still sleep with my sock monkey if people would stop telling me how weird it is.)

13. Mr. AAL is threatening to take me to White Castle
They put an advertisement in his drive-thru sack telling him they will have a "fine dining" experience complete with flowers and live music!

That is somehow very......sad.

Plus, sliders make me :puke:

15. I know a couple who does that.
They have for a few years. You have to make reservations MONTHS in advance for some locations. Apparently they make the place fancy and do table service. I would totally do that but only if it was for fun and/or I had something else planned.

22. I voted for the mop. Although it's true the crotchless undies are a vile gift,
they do indicate that my "beloved" still thinks about my crotch, and not the state of my floors.

25. I wish I still had the ad because it was pretty funny.
It was from one of those 99cent stores. It had ideas that were good for Valentine's Day like candy or frilly underwear on one side of the ad and the other side had bad ideas... like douche, breath mints, acne cream.

27. Flowers that *I* have to go pick up. And pay for them.
SO send me flowers one year, but he's not one on planning ahead, so he ordered them....Valentine's day morning.

So I got a call
"I got you flowers. But you have to go pick them up"

And guess who ALSO had to pay for them?

Yeah, we're still together after 17 years

:puke: I'd rather be shown love on any other day than the one people feel obligated to do it. Ick.
