3. Interesting, but I've never had it so I can't comment. |

Personally I would rate Bourbon County Stout as very top tier.
It is rated 4.36 by the group over at Beeradvocate and Jefferson's Reserve Bourbon Barrel Stout is rated 3.83. Of course that is just ratings by other beer nuts...
So I ask have you ever had Goose Island Bourbon County Stout?
Also I ask you if you've heard about the 2 peanuts walking down the road?
One was assaulted. Ta Dum Dum....

4. To me Bourbon County Stout is perfect. |

It has the deep dark coffee maple syrup chocolaty flavor, cradled gently in a bourbon flavored wrapper that tingles on the tongue with light carbonation. It's ABV is over 10%, so it packs about a double dose of alcohol as compared to a typical American brew.
Golden and glowy is how I describe it. Not too much of an aftertaste, which many high potency stouts have. If you've never had it it makes Guinness taste like water. About a case worth of Guinness flavor in ever beer, plus lots of things never found in Guinness.
Yeah, I'm a BBC devotee, not my favorite but very good indeed,
