I generally prefer bon ami because it smells better, but barkeeper's friend does a better job on the stainless steel fronts of our appliances.

30. I don't have Bar Keepers Friend right now but, as I recall, it contains oxalic acid
which makes it good for removing hard water deposits and rust from sinks.
