Should I be alarmed that I can't identify all the state avatars?

I think I could have in third grade - I had a wooden United States jigsaw puzzle - each state was a piece. You could have blindfolded me and I would have known. Now I just stare at them and think - Kentucky? Idaho? Illinois?

I learned that there were all sorts of tickets to Obama's inauguration that were unclaimed by Wyoming residents. Few people wanted to go.

Some people in Illinois obtained tickets from friends and relatives in Wyoming.

I am a foreigner, but can place all the states in their places. can tell you the capitals, but can't place the capitals yet.
I was wondering, how can you mistake Idaho? That state is so oddly shaped!
