3. I bought some almond butter from Costco
It's not that bad, flavor's a bit more subtle and slightly bitter. I prefer peanut butter.

4. Still using a jar that is very old. Whatever is living in there
killed the salmonella.

5. We still have Austin PB crackers in the vending machine at work
I wonder if the guy realizes no one is ever going to get to the Snickers bars he loaded behind them.

6. My doctor says it's one of the best things for me
I keep a jar at my office desk.

It's better than snacking on candy.

Yes I am.

I actually had a peanut butter sandwich today,
courtesy of Kraft's peanut butter today.

12. I end up having a little every day myself. For some reason I have been
craving the hell out of it since about Halloween. My Weight Watcher leader said she was in a weird Peanut Butter syndrome too.

I love the stuff. My dad ate it every day of his life

Picked up a twin pack of JIF at Costco about a month before the salmonella thing hit the fan. Not sick.

14. My favorite!!!
The Crunchy, that is---I also like Whole Foods' peanut butter that you take out of the bin and put into individual containers. I still eat peanut butter at least 4 days a week- the salmonella out break did not interfere with my love of peanut butter at all.

16. I'm waiting for them to recall all food. It's all poisonous, except the fake stuff.
I'm not eating the peanut butter right now because I did back in January and got sick. I'm not sure if it's related, but I sure got sick in that special salmonella sort of way.

So, juuuuuust in case, I'm steering clear of the peanuts and of spinach, still, because I don't eat spinach normally anyhow. That part is easy. Peanuts are in EVERYTHING it seems.

It kind of makes me wonder if the irradiated and genetically modified lobby is poisoning natural foods to make us use their fake stuff. It may be a conspiracy theory, but has anything similar ever happened before where money was involved? Is it at least slightly conceivable that a group who wants their product to be used would sabotage the competition? Food for thought.
