It's possible your freezer is that cold. Unlikely, but certainly possible.
It's also possible your vodka is not really 76 proof; it might be short some alcohol, for one reason or another.

I have one of those European dorm-sized fridges, and it seems that the way the freezer works is by being placed closer to the cooling unit than the other parts of the fridge are. Since I like my food kept cold, I keep it turned up to the max. perhaps the icebox segment is getting really blasted with cold. Otherwise, I've had the bottle open a few times and took some drinks from it, but I don't think it's been open enough for significant evaporation of the ethanol.
