when Barack Obama was elected. They even cancelled classes the morning of Inauguration Day, so we students could attend I.D. gatherings and parties. There are a few right-wingers among the students; interestingly, most of them are Iraq War vets. (I'm sure their support is just because they had their asses on the line over there, and want to believe it was for a worthy cause; I can respect that, even if I disagree.) They seem to be dealing fairly well. They had their eight years, and they can take a seat for the next eight, AFAIC.

On the other hand, the economy needs all the fuel it can get. Carry on! :D
