I HATE this woman at work.
She has been gone since her husband had a stroke. I did ask about him through other workers up here. She is back today. I don't speak to her anyway and didn't ask how he was. Mean? Maybe, but she brought all of this on herself.

He is 80 (She is 50-something) and she was letting him run the roads all over the state selling her damn cheap ass jewelry knowing he was not right. Thankfully he didn't stroke behind the wheel. He did so at home. He was bought out from his old job long ago for a million dollars. WEll she blew right through that. Let two of their houses go into foreclosure. Because of that he was still working at 80. His kids hate her. She didn't even tell them that he had 2 strokes and fell and now requires back surgery. She is a piece of shit.

So I overheard her on the phone saying "Nope, she didn't say one word. Didn't ask how he was or anything. We should keep her on the prayer list". I know she was talking about me. FUCK HER!!! She has fucked over everyone around her. Now she will be dumping her husband off on her mom to keep who is 80 herself and keeps her 96 year old mother.

This doesn't even count all of the shit she has done up here. Tried to get her "best friend" of 20 years fired while she was recovering from a surgery.

Thanks for letting me vent.

1. Why is she putting you on the prayer list?
What did I miss?

show the proper obeisance to Miss Drama Queen.

Shell, what a piece of work! :P

5. And I that is nothing. She is not a good person.
She has tried to sabotage everyone at work. Luckily for me, my aunt is the boss. And not so lucky for bitch, I don't play that shit. Don't cross me. You will regret that shit.

Sorry for the foul mouth, but she pisses me off.

Another lady asked her what she would do for retirement since she blew through over a million dollars (taking 30 people on a cruise, shit like that). She said "I will do what everybody does. Go in a nursing home and get on welfare." I am sorry but I don't want to pay for your ass to sit in a nursing home when you had such opportunity to put some of that money away. She just blew all of it. On dumb shit.

3. I guess because I am a bitch and didn't ask her how her husband was.
I have been keeping up with him through other people but I refuse to talk to her. I am not fake. I never talk to her and will not start now. I don't wish her any ill will, but everyone saw this coming. We all knew he wasn't right. She even thought he was in the early stages of Alzheimer's. Yet she let him get behind the wheel and drive to Alabama to sell her cheap ugly jewelry. And 8hour drive for an unhealthy 80 year old. Shitty!

4. Gotcha. I thought maybe something had happened to
someone in your family.

She sounds awful. I would totally avoid her if I were in your shoes. Hang in there, Shell.

6. Unfortunately, we all share 2 offices. She just needs to avoid me.
If she says something to me, she is likely to quit because it won't be pretty.

7. Tell her..."I wish Thor would singe your hair you miserable evil person"
Edited on Fri Feb-13-09 01:30 PM by Sequoia
Since she hates you and everyone else it would be a blessing. Why can't she be laid off? What sort of cheap jewlery? Just reading about her makes me want to come over there and give her a good dressing down.

Edited: With nicer words regarding Thor's hammer strike

13. My aunt won't let her go because she knows the financial bind she
is in. My aunt loaned her about $2000. And she doesn't expect it back. This woman is so broke (pays for everything in quarters and then still borrows money for the tip; hello, don't eat out if you can't afford it), but she is getting her new yorkie $1200 obedience lessons. Where are her priorities? Also, she and my aunt share lots of common friends, and my aunt is just waiting on her to leave. I still can't figure out why she is here. If I were in charge, she would have been gone long ago. My aunt even installed cameras in the office because we believed she was stealing from petty cash. Again, why is she still here?

31. Your aunt is enabling this situation
She isn't helping this woman, but making the situation worse, and allowing the abuse to continue. Because of this, this woman is not going to feel the consequences of her actions, as your aunt has taken responsibility, in some small way, for the bad decisions of this woman.

This has nothing to do with you, directly, but all you can do is to keep up big barriers between you and this woman.

I feel like I am watching an episode of "My Name is Earl".

32. Everyone in my family has tried to get my aunt to let this woman go.
Not sure why she hasn't.

You are basically watching an episode of something. I think it may be worse than Earl though. At least Earl is trying to right his wrongs.

I am pretty sure she was talking to this other gal from work. She was saying for me to hear too. You just have to know this woman. Be glad you don't though.

22. Try putting a prayer book on your desk where she can see it
(as long as that doesn't break company rules!!!) and maybe she'll get the idea she doesn't have to pray for you. Or maybe just say to her that you hope her husband is doing better. (If you ask how he is doing, then you have to listen to her so don't ask questions. )

You know in all the years I have worked, I have had hardly any people that I worked with that I disliked. I have been very lucky.

27. I get along with everyone. Everyone but her.
I just don't talk to her. She knows I can't stand her. I am not a fake person. I don't play to like you if I don't. Yet, she makes a point to try to make me talk to her. And if my response isn't enthusiastic enough (which it never is), she sighs loudly. I just laugh.

29. Oh there is this one girl at work
she works for another company, not the same one I am with, but I have to walk through her office to get to the restrooms. Every time I walk through there, she sighs. Loudly. I think maybe she doesn't like me. Probably because she thinks that all our employees should speak English. I get mad about that. I tell her to learn a second language and get back to me.

And then she uses my scanner because it is faster than hers. She sighs when she comes in the office. I ignore her. But, I don't really work with her. Same corporation, different company.

17. He has nothing to give. He could've had a huge chunk to give.
She helped him go through it like it was water. They have absolutely nothing to show. They rent their house now because they lost 2 in foreclosures (she just left the houses, didn't even try to make the payments). She drives a 1982 car and the van she had him traveling the state in had over 300,000 miles on it.

His children (one of which she graduated high school with) refuse to talk to her because she used up all his money. He was older when they married, so he really didn't know what was going on. She didn't even let his children know he had 2 strokes. Said there was other things they needed to worry about. WTF?? STupid bitch.
