I'm waiting to hear what news my car mechanic has for me. I'm thinking about doing NOLA Sunday/Monday/Tuesday morning and then high-tailing it to Mobile to catch Order of Myths.

but I live 60 miles from the French Quarter so day trips are possible. Per all accounts this year will be much bigger then last year.

I've got a 10 hour drive, if I do it. Could fly, but I want to check out the Natchez Trace.

and sometimes the speed limit is ridiculously slow... But if you pay attention and enjoy the scenery- it IS a nice drive.
