My mother was watching a Tom Jones concert. She stayed until he finished the concert, then she went to the hospital. :eyes:

48. That's almost as bad as my mom.

My mom went into labor while taking a phone survey on vegetables. When the woman asked how many were in her family she said 3 but 4 by the end of the day. She thought my parents were adopting but when my mom let her know she was in labor she had to talk her into going to the hospital. Less than an hour later I was born at 3:02 pm which left her plenty of time to watch General Hospital. I guess when you were in labor with your first child for over 13 hrs and he weighted over 8 pound you don't worry about delivering the next one so much.

Incidentally, I was the only one of the five kids to be born in the morning. Two were born late at night and two were born at supper time.

My guess is that meant sometime between 11:30 a.m. and noon. Deliveries in the 50's knocked
mothers out with general anesthesia and fathers were nowhere near delivery rooms.

all accounts report that my mother was adamant about not having my birthday on Halloween. So I was born on Mischief Night instead. That's as close as I can get....

As for other births I was involved in (giving rather than being). Number 1 - 10:35am, overcast and chilly... Number 2 - 2:00pm exactly, sunny and warm... : )
