Any one else think SNL's Andy Samberg isn't funny?

Am I missing something with this guy? I have no idea why SNL devotes so much time to his skits and little extras. To me, he's pretty similar to Gilbert Gottfried - more annoying than funny.

comedians are supposed to be awkward, weird-looking misfits who've developed their sense of humor from years of exisiting on the fringes

He isn't a SNL legend by any means, but he and Kristen Wiig are very funny to this 26yo.
