3. I'll be in staying with family in Gulfport, but I'm hoping to hit a Monday night parade |
|
And there's nothing like Mardi Gras on Bourbon Street... Wait, how old are you? I can't tell you that stuff!

4. Primarily Undergraduate Institute? |

Oh, did you mean Posting Under the Influence? Well, I will have Internet access, and while I never go completely under the influence of ANYTHING, I may be a little "influenced" at times. But do you honestly think I'll be posting anything after a couple of hurricanes in New Orleans at Mardi Gras???
Eh, who am I kidding, I probably will. :(

8. That should be emotional |

I was back in Mississippi for the first Mardi Gras after Katrina (and the last one before). It was inspiring. I didn't see any of the parades, but I talked to friends who did, and I watched the coverage on TV. Everything was smaller and more local, and not for the tourists as much, and that made it all more moving.

12. We have a hotel room, very hard to get. |

I hope a lot of people from this area go to Galveston.
It is so sad to go there and see what Ike left behind.

10. At some point in my life |
|
I stopped catching necklaces. I think it may have been when I began decorating chandeliers with them, or maybe when my kids had buckets of them that they'd get in bead fights with. Nowadays when I catch them I give them to someone else's kid, to make them some other parent's problem. :)
