1. Do the biscuits have whiskers, and will I get splinters in my mouth from the gravy?

4. Ah yes, one can't forget the pork products
And none are better than country ham.

I never got into the red-eye gravy thing, though. Perhaps that's a bit too far south for me.

6. While I can certainly sympathize with your cause...
Wars have been fought over lesser cultural affronts.

8. It ain't a cause, it's food. And it's my culture, I can do with it what I want.
:P

9. I'm basically if it feels good do it kind of guy
But there's something about tofu and cathead biscuits that just don't work.

It's like going to NYC and trying to get deep dish pan pizza, or going to San Francisco and trying to find a restaurant that serves pickled pig's feet.

However it might go over well in California where they take everything culinary, bastardize it, and somehow make it work.

11. Then you ain't a "if it feels good do it" kind of guy.
If I want to eat tofu because it tastes better than eggs, I'll darn well do it, and don't start no "it smacks of California" stuff with me, I ain't never been there. :P
